The trade war is in accelerating the link between China and Russia in a wider range, especially in agricultural field. Though, Russia has vast lands arable, but, many of them are in idle.
People may easily think of that is due to the density in population is too low and shortage in labor, but, after read this article, you would understand the main cause, for vast arable lands in idle, is from people's ideology without sense for making a better life by hard working.
Because of difficult get job in local, in the Dimitrovo that is one of villages in the Far East Russia, there are many families, especially young people have moved out and left few elderly only.
Due to the decline in population with increasingly sparse people, since there is no hope for regaining its vitality of the Dimitrovo, the government withdrew their administrative number. From then on, the abandoned desert villages could no longer be found on the map.
In viewing that the area is larger in Far East Russia, people may be easily imaged that the village being delisted as that of Dimitrovo would be much more.
This is really a pity for both of the government and those local people.
Now, the hope for regaining its vitality of the Dimitrovo is coming, with the support of both governments, the farmers of China are entering Russia for grain farming.
Moreover, the arrival of Chinese peasants also saved the local economy; the growing prosperous agricultural production is in creating employment for the locals. The framers from China are voluntarily building infrastructure for the local area, which was warmly welcomed by the local people.
Follow are two reports regarding this issue.

Follow is Google map of the village of Dimitrovo, it is located about 70 km south of the city of Birobidzhan, the capital of the Russian Jewish Autonomous Prefecture.
From above map, we can easily see the vast of arable lands in out side of Russia, those countries of in -stans, Ukraine and so on, they are all starting cooperation with China, at least targeted China as a market with huge potential.
Under the implementation of the Belt and Road Economic Plan of China, with the construction of railways and highways, with the rapid growth of transportation scale, especially under the cooperation and the inspiration of industrious people from China, those once land-blocked countries are being stimulated with economic vitality in developing and prospering with China together.

Russian
villagers: If the Chinese did not come, the village may have disappeared.

Mr. Somov Alexander Mikhailovich who is the head of
the village of Dimitrovo, and the people here are affectionately calling him
"Old Sasha."
The village of Dimitrovo is located about 70 km
south of the city of Birobidzhan, the capital of the Russian Jewish Autonomous
Prefecture.
Old Sasha is 74 years old this year. In 1992, he
settled in the village of Dimitrovo.
At that time, there were more than 300 houses in
the village, more than 100 people, with schools, shops, pharmacies, and a pig
farm.
However, due to poor traffic and difficulties in
employment, the villagers moved away. At the worst time, there were fewer than
ten families in the entire village. “Young people have gone to big cities,
leaving almost all of old people.
Due to the sparse population, the government
withdrew the administrative number of the village. From then on, the abandoned
desert village could no longer be found on the map.
In 2014, with the development of Sino-Russian Far
East cooperation, the brothers, Mr. Ying Junfeng and Mr. Ying Xiufeng from Heilongjiang
province China came here to rent 3,000 hectares of wasteland for soybean
cultivation.
Old Sasha said: The government did not give them
the best places, but the swamps that no one wanted, but they did a great job
and cultivated more than 2,000 hectares of land in four years.
When the brothers first arrived, the villagers did
not trust them. No one believed that they would stay here all the time, and no
one believed that they could turn the swamp into a good farmland.
However, under the efforts of the
brothers, everything is slowly changed around: new roads, new street
lights, new bus stops... let locals gradually understand that these Chinese
people really regard this as their home and treat them as family members.
Mr. Ying Junfeng still remembers the scene when he
came to the farm for the first time. The 6-kilometer-long road to the
village was muddy, and the ordinary off-road vehicles could not pass. The
villagers could only walk in and out of the village.
In order to open the only passage between the
village and the outside world, Mr. Junfeng leveled the road surface and drained
the pits by own farm machine.
For 6 km of mountain roads, they repeated repairs
for 4 years. Finally, the road was passed, the villagers laughed, and there
were more people on the farm.
Local people say that they helped us repair the
road and repaired the broken wires and drains. They really did a lot for this
village. We are good friends now. If the people of China did not come
here, the village may have disappeared.
October is the season of harvest, and the old Sasha
goes down to the bean field with the brothers.
You
have saved this swamp, it is a miracle, and our village, because your brothers
coming, our village has regained life
