Homework

Homework reminds me of rays of the sun peeking through the leaves of sugar maple trees in a forest. There are only specks of light here and there, but when you take away the trees, the forest is flooded with warmth and light. It's just like homework, teasing my brain, like a puzzle waiting to be solved. But when I take the time to relax and think logically, I will solve it. Then the glory of completion fills me with joy.
