Responsibilities

• Source, build and retain your client base
• Market yourself and your business to attract newclients
• Provide insurance needs advice based on riskassessment
• Provide sound financial advice to help grow yourclient’s financial portfolio (Life and Health Insurance, IndividualPrescription Drugs and Dental Insurance, Critical Care and Long Term CareInsurance. Individual & Business Disability Insurance. Special Class Insurance,Travel Insurance, Business Protection, Employment Benefits).
• Understanding of your individual clients needs basedon their unique circumstances
  
  

Requirements:

• Experiencedin proactively identifying and executing ways that customers’ needs can bebetter met through a strong understanding of their requirements and expertknowledge of products and services.
• Excellentinterpersonal and relationship management skills as well as a strong serviceorientation, focused on achieving exceptional service standards.
  
  

• Undergraduate degree ordiploma in Business Administration with one to three years relevant experiencein a financial institution or equivalent combination of training andexperience.
• Proven ability in sales andservice to financial customers.
  
  

• Strong knowledge in financialadvice and planning (Savings and Investment, TFSAs, RESP, RRSPs, RRIFs,Annuities, Retirement Planning, Family Financial Planning, Education Plans).
  
  

• Experience in engaging in andsecuring new business from existing and prospective customers.
• Expert in general bankingservices, including detailed knowledge of financial products and services.
• Hold or plan to have LifeLicense Qualification Program (LLQP) , IFIC or CSC

  Key Responsibilities
  
  

• Developing, servicing and maintaining all aspects ofnew commercial lines accounts
• Delivering professional and expert knowledge andadvice tailored to our client’s commercial insurance needs
• Responding to client inquiries, gathering underwritinginformation and conducting appropriate research
• Creating submissions/proposals through variousapplications, and submitting to Carriers for quotation
• Creating and issuing binders, certificates, policies,action endorsements and other items related to commercial policies
• Delivering excellent service by responding to allclient inquiries accurately and efficiently
• Creating a positive client experience by understandingand meeting the customers’ needs
• Contributing to team success by consistentlyleveraging knowledge and sharing best practices
  
  

Requirements

• 2-3 years minimum of commercial lines property,casualty fleet insurance experience including but not limited to rating,preparation of applications and endorsements as required
• RIBO licensed and one of the following designationsC.A.I.B, C.I.P, F.C.I.P, C.R.M, with excellent computer skills and familiaritywith Microsoft Office and sound knowledge of Power Broker
• Excellent verbal and written communication inproviding world class customer service
• Excellent time management skills with the ability tomulti-task and grasp new concepts
