Purchasing Assistant /Invoicing Clerk Company Overview Newly established,fast-paced Canadian industrial manufacturing company located in the industrialcenter of Kitchener. Job Overview The successfulcandidate will be responsible for vendor negotiations and purchase ofnon-production (MRO) products and services. Responsibilities · Responsible for thenegotiation and purchase of plant supplies · Enter purchase ordersfor non-production, maintenance and tool room. · Management andpurchase of all building services. · Accountable for ongoingmanagement of in-house MRO inventories and MRO buying · Accountable for thepurchase and distribution of all office supplies. · The order of spot buysas required, and maintenance of vendor blanket purchase orders. · Match vendor invoicesto incoming receiving advice. · Procure, negotiate andstock safety supplies in the plant. · Track inventory levelsand consumption · Maintaining allcosting information and establishing a regular cost review process Requirements · Post-secondaryeducation in a related field · Strong negotiating andcommunication skills · Any Chinese languageskills would be a definite asset, but not required Job Type: Full-time Salary: $14.50 /hour
