Responsibilities

• Source, build and retain your client base
• Market yourself and your business to attract new clients
• Provide insurance needs advice based on risk assessment
• Provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services
• Provide sound financial advice to help grow your client’s financial portfolio (Life and Health Insurance, Individual Prescription Drugs and Dental Insurance, Critical Care and Long-Term Care Insurance. Individual & Business Disability Insurance. Special Class Insurance, Travel Insurance, Business Protection, Employment Benefits).
• Understanding your individual client's needs to be based on their unique circumstances
  

Requirements:

• Experienced in proactively identifying and executing ways that customers’ needs can be better met through a strong understanding of their requirements and expert knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, as well as a strong service orientation, focused on achieving exceptional service standards.
• Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business Administration with one to three years relevant experience in a financial institution or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Proven ability in sales and service to financial customers.
• Strong knowledge of financial advice and planning (Savings and Investment, TFSAs, RESP, RRSPs, RRIFs, Annuities, Retirement Planning, Family Financial Planning, Education Plans).
• Experience in engaging in and securing new business from existing and prospective customers.
• Expert in general banking services, including detailed knowledge of financial products and services.
• Hold or plan to have a Life License Qualification Program (LLQP), IFIC or CSC
