 KAMCO Technique Ltee is specializing mechanical, electrical and structure designing and cousulting.

Our company has an immediate need for 1 mechanical designers with HVAC design experience. The successful candidate will have approximately 4 years+ designing HVAC systems for commercial and residential building clients.

Job description
Responsibilities
• Prepare drawings setup, system layouts, equipment room layouts, floor plans, details and sections
• Perform ductwork, pipe sizing, load and pressurization calculations
• Complete field surveys of existing building conditions
• Attend coordination meetings and coordinate design with other engineering disciplines
• Interface with clients, contractors and sales reps
• Attend site meetings, perform site visits, prepare site visit reports and deficiency reports
• Prepare addenda, site instructions, contemplated change notices and review C.C.N. pricing as required
• Review shop drawings and respond to requests for information

Who we are looking for

• A minimum of 4 years experience in mechanical building systems design including HVAC, and other specialty systems
• Working knowledge of ductwork, pipe sizing, load and pressurization calculations
• Advanced AutoCAD - Specifically reference, paper space, and model space
• Proficient in MS Office skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of Ontario Building Code
• Proficient oral and written English communications skills
• Analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Relevant post-secondary education
