3月28 全加最大的枫糖节就在KW附近啦!

第51届加拿大枫糖节就在这个周六7am-4pm!地点就在离滑铁卢半个小时车程的Elmira!

每年的枫糖节都提供的商品品种丰富,满足了整个家庭的需求;您可以参加sugar bush tours游览整座城市,参加著名的翻煎饼比赛,户外还有很多古董,工艺品及玩具。

当地白人说“这是一个玩和吃出来的娱乐节日,是我们所珍视的传统社区的一部分。”


The Main Drag Devour Our Pancakes

$4 – one pancake

Try our golden-brown pancakes and famous maple syrup. You will find us just off the Mall on Wyatt Street. Get yours before they’re gone!

Browse the Mall &
Excite your Tastebuds!

Craft booths, apple fritters, baked goods, maple syrup and much more await you and your appetite along the half-mile-long outdoor Mall. Plus, mouth-watering, home-style meals are featured at the local churches.

Savour Old-Fashioned Toffee

See the old-fashioned way of boiling down the sap and sample unforgettable maple syrup toffee!

Catch the Quilt & Craft
Show & Sale

8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$2 adult, 12 & under free

Enjoy the skilled craft-makers featuring handmade quilts, jewellery, clothing and decorations for your home. Don’t miss the quilting demonstration!

The Resting Place

8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Zion Mennonite Fellowship, 47 Arthur Street. Enjoy a rest from all the action or meet up with friends before exploring the festival.

Saw A Log

Have some fun near the Mall! Join the Venturer Scouts of the 1st Elmira Scout Group to test your sawing skills. Take your branded slice home as a souvenir!

Visit Old MacDonald’s Farm

8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$0.50 adult/child

See the animals, find your way through the straw maze and climb on the tractor in the buggy shed by the pancake tent.

Go for a Pony Ride

Your little tots can take a ride around the ring on ponies that are just their size!

Three round trips from the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market to Elmira on Festival Day.Not wheelchair accessible. “Owned & Operated by Waterloo Central Railway”.

St. James Lutheran Church, 60 Arthur Street. Get comfortable in this indoor breastfeeding zone hosted by volunteers from the Community Breastfeeding Alliance of Waterloo Region, including a public health nurse

Watch talented pups in the Dog Show
8:30 a.m. & 2 p.m.
The pooches of “Four Paws Flying” perform their Dog Sport Variety Show with freestyle frisbee, agility obstacle course and musical freestyle tricks. Sponsored by Elmira Pet Products.

Cheer at the Pancake Flipping Contest
10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Watch this wacky relay at the Arena. Plan to be there to cheer on your favourite team!

Enjoy the Birds of Prey Show
12, 1:15 & 3:30 p.m.
See large raptors and watch the hawks fly over the stands. Meet the handler and one of the birds up close after the show.

Marvel at the Got Magic Tour
12 & 3 p.m. in the Community Room
Back again this year with new magicians and new illusions! Like comedy, escapes, close up card tricks? We’ve got it all! New this year, meet the Got Magic Young Magicians team as they wow you with their illusions!

Catch the Dance Show
2:30 p.m.
Tap your toes to the beat during a dance show by Encore Dance Studio. A variety of dance styles will be featured in the performance.

Explore the Antiques & Collectibles Show & Sale

Friday 6 – 9 p.m.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$3 adult, 12 & under free
Take a step back in time and discover treasures from the past from a variety of vendors. Test your knowledge at the What Is It? Contest and place your bids in the silent auction.

Explore the Sugar Bush

9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
$5.50 adult, $3.50 child 3-12
2 & under free

Venture out to a local sugar bush by bus to experience all of the maple syrup preparations. Bus is not wheelchair accessible, please see ticket booth for accessible directions.

Weather permitting, watch this incredible feat of juggling performed by the Got Magic team!

Discover extraordinary Canadians from all walks of life at this cross-Canada travelling exhibit celebrating Canada’s National Honours, their recipients and their stories.

Ontario Artist Blacksmith Association
Starting at 9 a.m.
Watch what happens when iron meets fire during this fascinating blacksmithing demonstration.

The Mobile Sugar Shack
Can’t make it to the Sugar Bush on Festival Day? Then join the Waterloo Wellington Maple Syrup Producers at their miniature Sugar Shack and Evaporator outside the arena. You can see how maple syrup is made and check out their collection of spiels, tubing and old-fashioned buckets.
