We are looking for an experienced CAD Designer with water and wastewater engineering design experience to join our team in Kitchener.
The primary responsibilities in this role include:


Preparing detailed engineering drawings for municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment projects

Preparing process pipe layouts, pump layouts, PFDs, etc.

Preparing plan, profile and section drawings

Preparing presentation graphics and report figures

Coordinating project drawings with project managers, CAD staff and others

Ensuring that the projects\' needs are met in a timely and effective manner.


The successful candidate will have the following:




Civil Technology or related diploma program

5 - 7 years experience in water and wastewater process mechanical design is a must·

Experienced with AutoCAD 2009 Land Desktop and/or AutoCAD 2010 Civil 3D

Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD MEP would be an asset

Experience with AutoCAD 2005, in particular paper space/model space, and external references is an asset

Experience and familiarity with municipal water/wastewater treatment process, sizing, design, equipment and piping layout

Experience and familiarity with pertinent regulations and design guidelines

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills which you utilize in a team and customer oriented environment.

Advanced organization skill with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments.
