They're with a bank location is Stratford - if you know anyone that could be interested - please let me know!
They are looking for 3 resources - possibly all contract to hire. But open to both contract and fill time. All to start ASAP.
They want people that are enthusiastic, energetic, confident and anxious to learn.
3-5 years minimum experience. 5+ would be an asset. Must be "local" (Kitchener, Waterloo, London, possibly Burlington). The closer the better.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong knowledge of JAVA, and J2EE development environment, JSP, NetBeans, eClipse, ClearCase, JavaScript, HTML.
Familiarity with .NET a definite asset.
Proficient knowledge of XML, DB2, Websphere, JSF, SOA, Sybase.
Must be familiar with relational database design and implementation.
Working knowledge of application development methodology and architecture.
Good analytical and problem resolution skills.
Proficient PC office automation skills.
Positive work habits.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Potential leadership abilities.
Knowledge of the AS/400 platform.
Knowledge of IBM MQSeries would be an asset.
Knowledge of banking products and systems, particularly in the areas of branch automation and self-service banking would be an asset.
One of the resources would be preferred to have some solution architect experience if possible - not a deal breaker.
